Health and Wellbeing

The Boyup Brook Community Resource Centre conducts a wide range of health and wellbeing programs including:

  • Chiropractor - Fetter Chiropractic, visiting every fortnight.
  • Gentle Gym Exercise Classes 
  • SEA wellness Program for Over 55s 
  • HEAL Program - Healthy Eating Activity Lifestyle program
  • Other Health and Wellbeing workshops, including Food Sensations and Stay on Your Feet programs
  • Cancer support information 
  • Referrals to support agencies
  • Access to Telehealth appointments

Remove Hazards - Stay on Your Feet 
The CRC conducted a campaign to assist seniors in the community in becoming more aware of ways to prevent falls, through removing hazards around the home, checking your eyesight, feet and footwear.
Resource packs with lots of useful information are available from the CRC.

HEALing Teens
Through the CRC's partnership with the Boyup Brook District High School, the Teen HEAL wellness program is delivered to the Year 7 class during term 2 annually. Students learnt the benefits of healthy eating and physical activity to encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle into adulthood.
